Behind the Fragrance

Filippo Sorcinelli - PIOGGIA DEBOLE - Extrait de Parfum

Pioggia (Rain): Atmosphere: Solitude, contemplation and drama.

"Pioggia" promises to capture the atmosphere of a solitary moment in nature after a rainstorm. The fresh, woody notes evoke the feeling of walking alone in an uncontaminated forest, while the scent of rain and damp wood soothes the senses and puts the mind in an introspective mood.

Pioggia Debole (light rain): / Atmosphere: Melancholy and nostalgia

Pioggia Debole seems to have been created to evoke the soft melancholy and wistful memories of times gone by. The notes of iris, myrte and moschus give this fragrance a soft and soothing touch, while the earthy notes and spices create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Pioggia Debole by Filippo Sorcinelli is a fragrance inspired by the experience of smelling damp wood for the fireplace. The following text describes the atmosphere and emotions associated with this fragrance:  "On the mountaintop of solitude, a grey cloud tells me that I am in someone else's hand. And he leads me by the hand where existence tears. Each verse of my poems stands next to the other, untouched.

Untouched. And the world is lost. With the falling drops I do not mark time, I am simply gone from life. And I melt with the dramatic sound of emotions. It rains on the void, and the crying becomes matter, it breaks the silence. Voices waver.

Here is the meeting between the asphalt and its liquid footprints, drawn and confirming the lone man, in the existential metropolis of noise. Debole. Here is the fear of a forest that hovers in silence, amazed by the water that deceives, a producer of mould that hinders the fire.  The first raindrops have fallen and the air smells crisp and clear as the trees stand still in the wind. The air is not yet fully saturated with rain, but you can already smell the forerunners of a slightly dirty rain. The scent of lemon could be surprising or irritating, giving the fragrance an unexpected freshness that invigorates the senses.

As the rain intensifies, the sky is not completely covered and the sun's rays break through the clouds to create a beautiful rainbow. This adds a magical atmosphere to the scene and enhances the feeling of refreshment and enchantment.  The summer is humid and the earth is damp from the sun's rays that have broken through the clouds. The rain, although light, brings a welcome refreshment and a feeling of revitalisation.

Not every fragrance is made to please.

Some are made to remember. Some to challenge. Some to reach the soul.

Filippo Sorcinelli creates such perfumes – artistic niche compositions meant not just to be worn, but to be experienced. At scent amor, we present an exclusively curated selection of his creations: unisex fragrances infused with spirituality, emotion, and aesthetic boldness.

These are not perfumes of fashion – they are statements, emotions, expressions. Inspired by sacred art, architecture, music, and existential reflection, Sorcinelli’s creations move between light and shadow, body and spirit.

Each composition is an olfactory artwork, unfolding like a prayer of smoke, resin, and silence – guided by memory, sensuality, and the courage to be different.

Filippo Sorcinelli at scent amor is not a scent for every moment.

It’s a scent for your own.
