Gaetano Donizetti, an aria from the famous scene of madness in "Lucia di Lammermoor", an opera made famous by the interpretation of Maria Callas: The stage is dark. This is the moment when Maria Callas enters the scene after her make-up. An extraordinary appearance, with these big eyes, set in a face with high cheekbones.

"La Divina", strong in public and fragile in private. The stage costume is impressive and elegant, with its movements it becomes the music itself. There is a scent of labdanum and vanilla that shakes the face powder. Pierpaolo Pasolini describes the figure of this woman as "timeless, archaic and mythological", who made the theatre a safe place, a refuge where only art is allowed.

The madness of opium, tonka bean and balsamic pine forms the basis of this olfactory sculpture. In the face of this, everyone becomes impotent and feels a dull ache, a sharp pain, almost a melancholy of a peach heart warming in solitude. Insanity is an almost perfect world, made up of wounds that inevitably leave scars, of the fragrant furrows of the Lily of the Valley. It is a moment when you are on stage, but you think you are trapped in a dark building, waiting to be warmed by you and your life.
